Lines of Itoshima grew out of long walks, quiet mornings, and the rhythm of life in Japan during my artist-in-residence at Studio Kura

I painted the people, objects, and feelings from Itoshima that stayed with me. Fragments of a place that felt both grounding and new. The strong red and blue lines echo the handmade Japanese typography and calligraphy that surrounded me on a daily basis.

Each painting is a one of a kind piece.
